The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has said no corps member serving in Kwara died in any autocrash in Oke-Ose , Ilorin. The NYSC Public Relations Officer (PRO) in Kwara , Oladipo Morakinyo refuted the allegation in a Statement to NAN on Sunday. He said, “The attention of the NYSC State Secretariat, located in Ilorin, Kwara State has been drawn to a false information being circulated by an online media about the death of a corps member in an autocrash . “The management of the scheme in Kwara State wishes to refute the false news and also set the records right that no corps member was involved or died in the said accident. ” According to Morakinyo , the rumour that a corps member died alongside some students of Kwara State Polytechnic , along Oke-Ose road, Ilorin, is false. CBN Pumps $210m Into Forex Market - Business

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), on Monday, March 19, injected 210 million dollars into the inter-bank Foreign Exchange Market, in its bid to sustain liquidity in the foreign exchange market. The acting director, corporate communications department, Isaac Okoroafor in a statement said that the move would ensure the continuous availability of foreign exchange to customers. Giving a breakdown, Okoroafor said that the bank offered 100 million dollars to authorised dealers in the wholesale segment of the market, while the Small and Medium Enterprises segment received 55 million dollars. He said also that customers requiring foreign exchange for invisibles such as tuition fees, medical payments and Basic Travel Allowance (BTA), among others, were also allocated 55 million dollars. Nigeria Will Break Into Six Republics Before 2023 – Uwazuruike - Politics

Leader of the Biafra Independence Movement, BIM, and founder of the Movement for Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), Chief Ralph Uwazuruike yesterday claimed that Nigeria would break into six different republics before 2023. According to him, the present ‘pigeonholed six geo-political zones of the country’, namely South-East, South-South, South-West, North-Central, North-East and North-West, would metamorphose into the six republics, with South-East becoming the long agitated New Biafra, while South-South becomes Niger-Delta Republic, just as South-West and North-Central become Oduduwa and Middle-Belt Republics respectively, leaving North-East and North-West as Arewa Republic.
